    Rarely if ever a problem for that to happen. If the motor is weak and can't hold it self steady then maybe.

    Look at all the new cars from the american side and all the euro cars that have been DBW for over 10 years longer than the USA, they don't have these problems. Many pushing over 600-700hp with a warranty. Then the aftermarket guys making even more with simple mods and stock throttle bodies.

    The only times the computer should shut the throttle is for traction control/stabilitrak and to save the car from itself like on shifts or torque mngt abuse settings.

    Yeah I can't stand the delay of the drive by wire
