I know that a colder t-stat might help to a degree in terms of initial temp., perhaps certain additives (not sure), but is there a way I can direct grille airflow or make some kind of air funnel behind my headlamps? I don't think I want to purchase a ram air hood, and if someone can give me some suggestions for making certain hood scoops functional, I'm all ears.

Oh, and do louvers work?
Thanks in advance
Put some flat washers on the hood hinges rear bolt to raise it up a bit and remove the rubber cowl to hood seal on the firewall, that should help the engine heat to escape some. Adding a hood vent is really the only way, but it would have to be fit and if you can not do it yourself it probably wont be cheap.
