If I remember right ZZP's kit was plastic spacers ( round and like 3/4 inch pvc) you put under valve body springs. One was about half inch tall (first to second maybe) the other was an inch (second to third). Nowhere as good as the other shift kit I think intense sells. I will see if I have the papers that came with it. Djudge1970

Way off on the size. It's been a long time. think I found one. Half inch wide quarter inch tall. They give you couple sizes to choose from to make first to second shift hard or harder. Djudge1970

I went this route not long ago on my 04 Impala, completely removed the P1811 code and the shifting is much nicer. I was looking for a cheaper option as well, but it's well worth the money invested.

Most trans code never set a light, they just sometimes remain in the history.

1811 is a max adapt shift/long shift code. Normally the shift kit reduces the time it takes to shift and stops the code from coming up.

im dumb when it comes to trans, would that be the reason for the hard shifting sometimes?
