Just took my side skirts off, and all I can say is WOW! The Iowa winters have destroyed my grand prix. I dont even know if its worth "restoreing". I will have to post pics tomorrow, my camera is charging right now.

I have a question... my 02 gtp just started sputtering/missing under boost.. any idea what it could be? ive seen several different explanations. vacuum leak, MAF, fuel injector/pump/filter.

Well, have you checked your fuel psi? When I went Wide Open, my car would act like it was hitting the rev limiter at like 2500 rpm. I checked my fuel psi and it was at 40 psi, and I think it should be around 60 or 70psi

Ill have to check that out, I don't have access to a lot of tools at my place, but I went to Universal Technical Institute... I still don't understand that one. I am going to bring it to the mechanic that my family has been using. He only charged $750 for a new engine in my grandmothers car so he is definitely a fair person. It has been acting up lately, like it has been popping after I run thru 1st gear. It only has been doing that for the last few days or so and then it started this other thing its been doing this evening.

Well Thats good you run 93, are their any mods? Also I would have that fuel psi checked, and look for vac leaks.

Did you get fixed what it needed when it was parked? Also personaly I think that a car sitting for a year or more is kindof hard on it, now thats just me!

I know it was rough for it while it was sitting. It was started occasionally but after the battery died, it sat for a year. we got it running about 3 weeks ago and it was fine except for the rubber exhaust mounts in the middle of the car, they came off. it developed an exhaust leak after that happened. It had one of the brake lines go out while it sat, but that got fixed as well. The A/C and the Driver Information Center are the only things that aren't working right now. The idle has been off, its been a little shaky on idle but drives normal until I hit boost. Then it starts to sputter and buck until I get out of boost again. could it maybe be the o2 sensor if it broke upstream b4 the first sensor?

I know they are quite rare, I have only seen like 3 others like it, and 2 of them were 2 dr. I heard a while back that the 4 door is lighter than the 2 door. Do you know anything of that sort?
