Magnaflow sound good. If you could get them at a good price I would recommend them.

Borla Pro XS, probably the "best sounding" mufflers for these cars, but are on the expensive side.

Wicked Nicky's has good prices on these.

Hey guys its been a while since I have posted, Yesterday I replaced my fuel filter and when replaced it, alot of black stuff came out of it, I think that it might be the original(my car has 193xxx) . I have still been having my problem with my car acting like its hitting the rev limiter at 3000 rpm. So after I replaced the fuel filter, i test drove it and it did the same thing, so i put my fuel psi tester on it and, it was holding about 45 lbs. I know more than likely its the fuel pump, but could it be something else?

Yep. Im debating doing that to mine too. Not really a big deal, takes about 4hours to yank the motor out with handtools and no help.

Engine out the top, trans stays in. Pop the hood off, lay a blanket over the roof and set hood on roof. Zip out all the bolts/hoses/electrical connections and bam, shes out.

Im pulling her out the top with the trans, the only thing left is the cv shafts, I want to clean everything paint stuff, and since I want to make a show car I want to have some of the rust fixed around the front shock towers. I may also put a mild cam in her just for the hell of it. Im starting in the front and moving back, so next will be fender and rocker rust. The inside will be last!

Just took my side skirts off, and all I can say is WOW! The Iowa winters have destroyed my grand prix. I dont even know if its worth "restoreing". I will have to post pics tomorrow, my camera is charging right now.

I have a question... my 02 gtp just started sputtering/missing under boost.. any idea what it could be? ive seen several different explanations. vacuum leak, MAF, fuel injector/pump/filter.

Well, have you checked your fuel psi? When I went Wide Open, my car would act like it was hitting the rev limiter at like 2500 rpm. I checked my fuel psi and it was at 40 psi, and I think it should be around 60 or 70psi

Ill have to check that out, I don't have access to a lot of tools at my place, but I went to Universal Technical Institute... I still don't understand that one. I am going to bring it to the mechanic that my family has been using. He only charged $750 for a new engine in my grandmothers car so he is definitely a fair person. It has been acting up lately, like it has been popping after I run thru 1st gear. It only has been doing that for the last few days or so and then it started this other thing its been doing this evening.
