October 12. There now y'all don't gotta decide on a date
The 12th isn't even a test n tune night noob.
We have either the 11th or the 25th.
There's a super 8 13 minutes from the track, for $60 a night you can get a 2 Queen Beds Non-Smoking Room with free continental breakfast, free Wi-Fi, refrigerator and microwave. It also says they have bus/ truck parking incase anyone is planning on towing their junk. I checked that price and it looks to be the same for either weekend right now. I don't know how many rooms they have available at that rate, so we should decide something somewhat soon.
I'd like to direct you noobs (Marines and Brando)
To the first post.
Where I said, October 25th.
Abraham said it!
Call me Moses.
I don't do that sheep leading bidnes.
I separate oceans...and sh1t.
SO eXCITED FOR THE OCOTOBER MEET
Does anybody want to do anything Saturday, or are we just going to have this be a track meet?
I'm trying to figure out if I should get a hotel for one night, the weekend, or not at all.
I'd figure one night really...there isn't much to do other than museums in Topeka if I remember right.
can we get the track on sat too? maybe go for a cruz?
The track will probably be open Saturday for bracket racing or whatnot.
Im ok with venturing to kc, its only an hour away from topeka and the same distance home for the most part. It would kinda suck if someone like pepino made the trip and it was a few hour meet. We could probably hit up saddlers Saturday for some karting if people are interested in something like that. I've heard lc has some good barbecue so I wouldn't mind smashing on some of that either. There's a chiefs game at noon on Sunday. I've never been to a pro football game, so that could be an option as well.
Then again if its just locals going to the track, you'll probably be lame and not hang out like last year.
I've never been to a Chiefs game either.
But, it's pricey as ****.
Cruise would work for me, same with the track...but to where, idk/idc. Power and Light/Westport area would be good for drinking...but then you run into the issue with these underage kiddies.
Saddlers works for me though. I think they still offer a free deal to whoever can post a faster lap time then the person on top too.
It said online that tickets to that game start at $25. I don't think that's terrible.
For le nosebleeds.
To watch ants.
And ten dollar brews.
Ha.
Chiefs games are a lot of fun.
Not cheap tho. tickets + $27 to park, $9 beers, $6.50 hot dogs...
But Arrowhead stadium is an experience in itself. Loudest stadium in the NFL, and it's LOUD.
Not counting all the food and booze you need when tailgating before the game.
Which is the most important part so you can go into the stadium hammered and not care.
So what you're saying is that you're going to get about 20 free tickets for that game? Lol
Sooper dankz
