I was saying I don't know to the condition of the track, not whether it's opened or not.

Get a little regression in your life, oldie.

Also; I found nothing good about Iowa other than free Chinese buffet...and like stated...timewarp showers and bubblewrap floors.

iowa seems like a logical choice distance-wise.

Unfortunately, this. As far as active members that we know will actually show up, Iowa is probably the better option.

I think Iowa cost less than Kc did too, just throwin that out there.

This one is far enough off in the distance that I would be down to go, its only 10 hour drive to Topeka from where I am.

The hotel name is Ramada Inn.
Everyone needs to call and ask to make a reservation under the group name "Iowa W-Body Meet"
the rate i got her to go donw to is $65 for one night with a king bed and a couch that pulls out into a bed. So each room can hold 2-3 people depending who u wanna room with.
I also made sure that you CAN be 18 and reserve a room.
She is trying her best to get all the rooms together on one floor but she told me that there is no gaurantee that will happen but if we are not right next to each other it will be fine i think.

OK so here is what everyone needs to do to reserve a room. **and you must call and reserve your room at least 2 weeks before the meet or else u will not be in our block of rooms but u can still get the group rate**

    1. Call Ramada Inn - number is (319) 233-7560

    2. Ask to make a reservation under the group name "Iowa W-Body Meet"

    3. Just give them a cedit/debit card number to ensure your reservation. The group rate we are getti is $65 and tax (she wanted $80 ) (u won't pay until u check out, And YES YOU CAN be 18 and reserve a room.)

    4. Just let me or nick know when u have reserved a room please so we know for sure. thank you

and jsut so everyone knows Please try to get your reservations made ASAP please so we dont have any last minute problems

    Thank you

For anyone that didn't go, minus my Mom's Italian cooking, ^^that's basically everything that happened. That and Kevin talking mad **** and making Nick all mad.

Oh, and the random 10 year old trying to get into my car with FoSho and I at the bowling alley when he thought it was his ride home.

Regardless, I'm still planning on going to Topeka in October since it's close as hell for me and anyone else around. If you guys still want to plan an Iowa thing too, I'd consider it.

I could probably swing both meets if they were a couple weeks apart.

One the September 20th or October 4th and the other October 18th? Iowa first because it gets colder quicker than KC?

    Sure.

Like I posted up top...I figured Oct. 25th would still be good for Kansass...weather should hold. Would be really good for racing with cold weather and all.
