You should teach your wife to make jerky. It can be cooked and dried ahead of time and eaten all day. #winning.
she'll be learning that this winter cuz she's getting a smoker for christmas. meanwhile i'm getting a buffer for christmas from her parents

we're definitely talking about the meat. and I'm not on board with this jerky idea... I like juicy well cooked bbq or ribs or brisket or whatever we end up having. no need to dry it out lol

Well I'm sure we're not gonna eat bbq he brings for the whole weekend, just lunch or something. We always do restaurants around town

What are portable BBQ's illegal in WI?

Or are they simply illegal to carry them across state lines?

I'd also be willing to bet my ride is going to be a million times worse.

Matt if you notice anyone who wants it can you put bbq next to their name on your list of attendees? I'm gonna write up a list myself so I have it for safe keeping but I don't wanna miss anything. Also do you have a preference, Brisket, Spare Ribs, Baby Back Ribs, Back Ribs, Pork, Lamb, Etc?

For sure we'll be bringing at least one brisket. I'm sure we can get a little guy for pork cuz I wouldn't mind pulled pork myself. I'll make a note of that.
