Well I am still considering going down. We can get a hotel room together if you want? It will help defray some of that cost? Just a thought. I just gotta figure my funds for gas, maybe going with Web and his wife to SDC, and the hotel. But I don't see it being a problem

That reminds me, Chris can we get a vendors discount this weekend maybe????? hehehehe I had to try! And what is the going rate down there for the Hotel room?

Just to avoid confusion, James and I are talking about going to Branson Saturday, April 26th for a fact finding mission for the BGPM (I think silverbullet was talking about going to the BGPM in September, on Saturday vise Friday).

I just got off the phone with Stacey at the Fall Creek Inn and the rooms are 54.95 a night, but she will give us the BGPM rate this weekend so its 45.00. I reserved 2 rooms under my name, so if your not able to make it James, just shoot me a PM and I will cancel one of them.

Awh ok Silver, sorry for the confusion my friend.

So Chris, what time are you looking at arriving at Branson. And what is the cost of SDC for one day?

The only concern I have is my CV joint issue. I am not sure how truly bad it. It seems to be running fine and all. I guess this will be a good test for it

Its about 50 bucks with tax, but I can get you in for about 45 with tax. I just have to meet you at the gate. I have a season pass, so I can take up to 6 people in and they get 5 bucks off.

Are you slinging the "Green Boogers" yet? Is it clicking when you turn? I have driven on a couple that had small holes in the boot for up to 6 months or so with no problems.

Just so you know, if your planning on going to SDC when your at the BGPM, you may be better off going with a season pass. If you go 2 times it pays for itself and then some.

    These prices are BEFORE taxes
    SDC only is 65.00
    SDC and Celebration City 110.00
SCC/CBC and White Water (all 3 parks) 125.00

    Normal ticket prices
    SDC 48.00
    CBC 26.00
    WW 35.00

SDC is usually only open during the day, Celebration City is open at night, so you can go from one to the other.

    SDC hours 9am-7pm
CBC hours 3pm-10pm (they have a great fireworks show)
WW hours 10am-7pm (they dont open for the season until late May)

    Hey Chris,

Here is the link that will better show you my problem. I have not heard any clicking yet, but the pictures will show you pretty much the problem.

    http://www.grandprixforums.net/f59/d...owup-3205.html

That is my only hesitation in going anywhere to far. I might have to bite the bullet and order those new shafts from Rock Auto and get them installed before I really do any long distance driving. I had skip going to KC last weekend cause of my brakes, which I have since corrected, but now this............*sighs*

I know alot of you are needing information about pricing. I am still working that out. The price will be a little higher this year but that is mainly because we are adding in Lunch on Saturday as well (if you recall that was at Dana's the last 2 years, and you paid them). This year it will be part of the package. The most expensive package deal is around 85.00 and that will get your 3 meals including the awards dinner, a T-Shirt, the race and the car show. This is for one person. For a couple, well double that and I guarentee it will be cheaper. Its 45.00 per night for the hotel plus tax, and then there is the raffle. So all in all, your looking at about $350 for a couple to go and that includes 3 nights in the hotel. The only other money you will need is for the raffle, Food for Thursday, Dinner on Friday night, and any other spending money you want for shows or other attractions.

Registration should open by the 15th if I can ever get the menu finalized....(Rib-Eye is on the menu for the awards dinner by the way)

Thanks for your patience, I hope this info answers your questions.

Registration sent. Let me know if I filled in anything incorrectly and total cost. As I said in email it will be me for all events and my wife as a spectator and guest for everything.

Not sure about the Saloon "shake it up". Had alot of fun hanging out at the Hotel and we should have even more exclusivity of the hotel this year and no DUIs for me. Might go out if we ride with someone.

What's the prize, what's the prize??? LOL.

I am still working out some of the details, but Im working on transportation to and from the sundown. The owner said he is trying to get a limo (not just for this event) and if that happens, he will be able to shuttle people back and forth. His idea is that it would be available for use at the meet and all we need to do is tip the driver. Its about 2 miles from the hotel, so 2 bucks a person per ride sounds fair to me. A DUI would cost you thousands. If there is alot of interest in going, I am sure we can have our own area in the bar.
