this is 100% true. you can be in the parking lot all you want, you have to pay to get into the park. if you make yourself a lunch then you'll have enough money to get into the park with no problem. however, you wont have enough money for dinner.

talked to someone in the park. its $5 if you want to park in the hotel parking lot and you are not a guest. its free to park in the parks parking lot for guests of the hotel and others, which is where we will be staying. they said they probably wont block off a section for us, but that we shouldnt have a problem finding a place because the parking lot is gargantuan and that its later in the year (and cooler outside) so they assume that they will not be close to capacity and that we will not have a problem finding a spot to congregate.
