Surely a k&n would be better then what I did when I was bored a few days back. Removed my airbox, secured the filter in place, sanded (and tried to bore out, in the most ****ty way) the filter side of the box as best I could, got a slightly larger smooth tube and cut some holes in it for all the protruding bits and used some hard rubber plugs cut to shape to hold every thing in. It was rather funny IMO, it was quite noisy, but I'm not sure if it was from leaks I couldn't see (I soaped it and ran air, but nada) or just the crappy monstrosity that it was..... butttt, it was well worth the humor alone to me ...for the record I had a spare airbox assembly, what the hell better did I have to do with the old one?

Not to thread jack, but if I buy that K&N intake can I drop to a 3.2 pulley? Also, what kind of catback should I get?
