    Well this is my first post....
    I have a 99 GTP. Only the drivers window will go down. I tried the lock out button up and down. The windows don't work off the drivers control or any of the other door controls. Any ideas?

    sounds like the master window switch is dying on you.

    ebay or junk yards, or you may find new switches on e bay or amazon.

    2 or 4 door? Did you just get the car?

    Its a 4-door. Do all of the switches connect through the switch on the drivers door? I just got it a few weeks ago.

    Did you just get the car? All the regulators could be bad

    I just got it a few weeks ago. I can test the switches on the drivers door and the others. Test for current at one door, and cross the wires there, if there is current. I think the doors are just two-wire connectors. If it goes down, its either the main switch, the relay, or the switches on the doors. If I'm getting no current at one of the rear windows, then maybe its the lock out switch.

    when my master switch went bad, only the master would work all the windows, all the switch's on the other 3 doors went dead.

    cause was the window lock part of the master switch. aka drivers side door controls.


    you could run power to the window regulator motors, see if they move. if they work, then is a switch.

    Ok...I crossed the lock out switch and got the windows to work. Thats good. 3 regulators didnt sound too good! Do I have to buy the whole unit for the drivers door?

    all 5 switches are one unit for the master.

    thats a much bigger project. make sure its not the valve covers or rear crank seal first.

    it was bottomed out on the pan, and it's leaving spots of oil on the left and right side of the pan. The pan is dented, and my theory is the pan being hit broke the gasket loose on both sides...and all the way around. I got a new pan, and breaking out the cherry picker tomorrow.
