    Do not buy that stuff off e-bay, it is only a filter and is pretty much a Hot Air Intake, will only hurt your performance over the stock air system.
    Thanks alot for your help. Exactly what i was looking for. I think im just going to but a Spectre Cone filter and slap it on, i heard another member did that and had good results

    You could do what i did....




    Simple and effective.
    04 Impala SS -- SOLD
    08 Prix GXP -- FWI, 3in DP, TR6IX plugs, Ported & polished throttle body, ported intake manifold, DiabLEW Tuned, wrapped crossover pipe, Cat delete, Factory res., Muffler delete, Poly motor mounts, shift kit, LED bulbs in just about every Da*n thing, ect..

    but you didnt even remove the restrictive part of the intake, how is that better than stock at all?

    Less restrictive filter..... not like your gonna gain any serious power from replacing the stock boot. The throttle body screen is there to straighten the air flowing into the TB.
