I read through the 2 tuning guides but i have some questions.

1.)So my base tune will be setup to start logging just by changing the Injector Skew Percent to 1.2-1.3? Is there anything else involved with this?

2.)If the above is true and my LTFTs are within 10%, Ill be good to go?

its the injector flow rate you need to increase for the larger injectors.

injector skew should be at 100% i think.

Ive already done that for my injectors. I was using the "defacto guide for tuning e85" and it mentioned bumping the skew to 1.2-1.3 depending on the time of year.

I have my IFR true to the size of the injectors. My skew is 1.3125 across the board. LTFT and STFT are within 5% all the time. Haven't done a MAF tune yet.

the skew is 1-100% in dhp.

most of the e85 tuning talk is hp based i think. what they are changing maybe somewhere else in dhp.

The max value on the Injector Skew Percent in DHP is 200. Unless youre saying that the PCM doesnt like anything over 100.

your right, it will go as high as 200%

not sure how that cross's over from hp to dhp tho.

this is derricks injectors off the regal board. i forget what injectors he has but this is what he started out with, trims were a bit off.

i added a zzp pe file to his bin and it came out pretty damn close, if it was a canned tune you could not be happier with the trims really, but i did adjust them a bit since the fuel trims re learned.

You guys and fuel trims....Jesus unless you have a wide band you really are setting yourself up for failure. Just cause it runs "fine" doesn't mean all your data is really correct. E85 has a wide operating range but you should always look for what your actual afr/lambda is and tune off that. Not a narrowband.

After talking to a better tuner, i decided to take his advice and use the injector flow rate. Ill be using 60# injectors so ill get them dialed in then add 28-32% so they flow more.
