Decided to post this in the tuning section instead of the trans section as I think it’s more involved with the programming. I had a ls1 for a short while with the 4L60E and my pop has the LS2 GTO with the 4L65E. My question is in regards to the timing and situation when converter lock and unlock. With those 2 trans, I notice that when the speed of which the converter locks, for example 30mph in 3rd/OD and you’re driving/cruising at 45mph, even when you let off the throttle the converter stays locked unless one of 2 scenarios occurs to unlock it:
    Hit the brake pedal or
increase throttle until you reach the speed at which you have the converter unlock

Now with the 4T65E and I imagine the 4T60E that once the converter locks and you’re cruising the converter unlocks at the following scenarios:
The instant you let off the throttle
You maintain cruising speed throttle and the brake pedal (with left foot)
increase throttle until you reach the speed at which you have the converter unlock

I looked into both HP tuners and the DHP and didn’t see if there was a way to turn or change those features at all, for either 4L60/4L65 or the 4T65/4T60?

if there is a way and i somehow missed it in either tuning software(s), is there a way for the 4T65/4T60 to continue having the converter locked like the 4L60/65?

its based on speed, throttle position, and gear in the grand prix world. the tables are under auto tcc "apply and release speeds"

if there is any other way to modify it. you cant get to it with HPtuners or DHP.
