I just picked up an Innovate wideband MTX-L, and I'm wondering if I can add it as a gauge on the dhp scanner software using the serial port and not the green input plug on the dhp hardware.

You can if you wire it into the egr.

I'm trying to dummy proof it by using the simplest aspect of the gauge. seems like using the serial port wire harness going from the gauge to my computer would be the easiest.

I must have misread this before. You can do it that way, but don't. You are going to want the wideband information with the rest of the scan data. I hate innovate's log works program, and trying to mesh a PT scan with it, is going to be almost impossible. You would at least need another sensor to read rpm, or maf.

is there a way to get the dhp tuner/software to see the wideband without using the egr? got it all wired up and works good, but haven't been able to decipher the directions on getting the readings from the wideband in the analog gauge of the dhp.

dont really want to use the egr method because I still use my functional egr.
