the transmission has gone out on my father in laws 2003 impala. it has a 4t65e in it and I have a spare transmission out of my 2001 gtp. the impala either has a 3.05 or a 3.29 gear ratio, but the gtp has a 2.93. I am wondering if someone could write a dhp bin file for a stock 2003 impala with the correct gear ratio conversion. I will have my father in law look at his car and find out which final drive ratio it has.

Marshal - you have a dhp and all the files you should need. Open your fathers car's file and a file with 2.93's. Then simply copy the trans over from the 2.93 car to the Impala. Poof.. you are all set, although you might want to consider adjusting the shift points. Take a look at the most current file in 2000 Regal under Bostick. That's the one i'm using with 2.93's on an NA motor.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
