Hi guys i installed a used stage 2 throttle body and my tune is so bad from the start my ltft +16 and after a maf tune i am getting them close to + 5 i also changed the tp pe table lower and more pe at 20-30 % throttle i am getting lots of kr, with less than 2 psi of boost i am getting 2-5° kr and i think 4 psi i can hear the detonation over 10° of kr i immediately let off where should i start and what table should i modify first or should i get a tac module

Ugg. All ported tbs are 98 style with a 99 maf...

Go back to a stock maf file and add 25% to the whole thing and go from there.

yes, leave your IFR where it should be... You dont really have a decent maf file to look at anymore so your IFR is going to stay put.

Thanks you are really close to what i started with using dhp and table modifier most my maf table has been 25-27% from 2000 to 6000 hertz i figured that the amouny of adj needed it is best to start with ifr but i am going to do the 25% the whole table and see how it goes

Its not required persay but when you build a maf from nothing its an option to change the curve a bit based on what you find. Fixing mechanical problems by changing the maf is still hokey.

I completely agree with what you say here. You don't compensate for a mechanical problem with tuning. I could see in an emergency to limp home... But tuning is not a replacement for a broken or out of spec part
