Anyone have a s/c 06-07 prix and put a overkill pcm in? I did and my gauges all messed up and my car would die when I put it in drive from park... Emailed will and he sent me another one for free (very nice guy) and I had the same problems... Sent both pcms back and got a refund... Anyone else have a 06-07 s/c prix and have a overkill pcm installed?? If yes, you have any problems??? I really need a tuned pcm

Did you do a security learn? I had one in my 06 and it would die shortly after I started it, until I did the security learn. The gas gauge reading the opposite of what it is supposed to be is a know issue with the 07s though.

Gas gauge worked fine. I did the relearn thingy with my aeroforce gauge. I want the pcm back because I loved its features but I'm not sure if I have bad luck and just got two bad tunes or if my car won't just take a tune...

No the relearn on the AF is the case learn and isn't really needed. The one I'm talking about you pull a fuse and turn the to on for 10 mins 3 times, like your adding a new key to the car.

All u need to do is unhook battery, change pcms, hook battery back up. should be that easy. He needs the proper VIN for u car and possibly an 05 pcm although he has cracked the 06+..

I had read about the security learn needing to be done sometimes but I don't remember where.

My girls car is the 06 and I had to do the security learn. I was using an 05 PCM but that shouldn't matter. 97-03 I've never had to do the security learn, just case learns, but I've heard of others who have had issues and needed to do a security learn.

It is possible that you got 2 bad pcms in a row, or there might be something else that will has to do on the 07 PCM. Try the security learn first and if that doesn't work try another PCM.

I think there's a write on here on how to do. But I'm pretty sure you just pull the prg mall fuse, then turn the key to on, wait 10 mins, turn the key to off then back to on within 3 secs, repeat for a total 3 times. The dic will say key learned or something like that when you are done. But look it up because I think I'm forgetting a step.

I'm going to order another one soon and try again. The first and second time I did it I disconnected the battery and did a case relearn through my aeroforce. I think I'm going to go to a dealer and see what they say also. I miss having a tuned pcm,.stock sucks...

So did the tune ever work and this just just a knew problem?

Oh and the dealer is just going to charge you $100 to do what I just told you to try. And if the reflash the PCM it will just delete everything overkill did to it.

Well I plugged the pcm in and my shift points changed and I could tell a couple other things were different but after a couple of days my cast started messing up like it would die or my gauges wouldn't work so I put my stock pcm back in and everything went back to normal.
