What do you hope a PCM swap or tune will accomplish?

I recently found some one yesterday that can tune my 07 Grand Prix. Finally no more ****ty shifting or low rpms. Any type of PCM tuning would be great compared to the standard restrictive tuning the computer originally comes with on my 07.

    Low RPM is good?

****ty shifting is inherent to stock sloppy trans?

Preferred shift points are a very personal thing?
