I had trouble contacting Overkill (he still hasn't replied and it has been over 6 weeks! So i went with intense and just put it in over the weekend (along with the Intense Fenderwell Intake kit, and plugs, and other little things; as part of their Stage one performance package). It is absolutely incredible difference, and their customer service is incredible.
I definitely recommend going with Intense!

They are really fast, it shouldn't make much if any difference that u made a few adjustments. They have to put the vin in all of them, so they all need a few things (so im sure its just a keystroke for them to adjust it). I only have the GT and it is incredible difference. Hope you have fun with it!

    Hey,

I have had mine for about a month or so now and its incredible. With the PCM and the FWI i get 523km in the city, a 100+ km increase. That in it self is worth it to me, plus the definite increase in performance.

i emailed 3800performance today about their pcms. they told me they are most certainly NOT zzp pcms. when i replied and asked who did them, they said they had a local tuner that does them....

anyways, for all of you with intense pcms, did any of you need to go get a CASE relearn done after installing it, or was it fine without?

Hey Guys, just joined & is my 1st time posting. I got a 2005 GP Base 3800V6 and i want a PCM also. After reading a lotof threads on this site, It seems like Intense is the company of choice due to the fast shipping & quality of the tunes... about the case relearn, does it need it? the one guy said his car was fine, backfired once, but is all good. I do not know anything, well very little, about case relearns... Hard to do? necessary for re-programmed PCM? I just got my car 3 months ago, 56k, and i just want to up the HP. $ is not a huge problem and i am willing to spend $. I just have a hard time finding parts for the 2005 Base model grand prix, everything is for <2003... i even thought of maybe getting a turbo kit for it if i decide to keep the car (long term) or i thought of just small upgrades until i get a newer ride.. any good sites? ay help is much appreciated! thank a lot guys! ~ Josh N

Im at the INTENSE website and about to get a PCM. I want some information from you guys. I have a 2005 NA engine (L26)with Stock internals &...

1.Should i leave my timing tables stock or choose the 1* option for $20 more?
    2. what should i choose for my transaxle shift settings? Leave at stock (+$20) or raise to approx. 6000RPM($0)?
    3. i am also going to be getting a HV3 Intake Insert in the upcoming months. should i have the PCM programmed for this mod? will it have a negative effect if its tuned for it and its not installed until a later date(HV3)?

Any input on which settings i should choose would be great!

    1. FYI timing and kr go hand in hand
    2. raise to 6k if you want
    3. do plog/dp combo (if you plan on staying N/A), and intake before getting an HV3, then tell them what you have. You can only get so much out of a mail-order pcm...
