The tuner gives you ALL the possibilities you could ever want when tuning your Grand Prix...whereas a mail order tune (DHP, ZZP, Intense, Overkill, etc.) do things such as basic changes (shift points, line pressure increase, 40 mph skip shift, no speed limiter, fan turn on, etc.)
The only difference from the tuner is the price and the vast amounts of knowledge you need for it to work correctly without messing up your car...I would love to learn it, but I would be afraid of messing something up IMO...hence why I leave it to the professionals![]()
