    ok do i only need to log in to the hptuner site to download the program??? if so does anyone have the progam because im waiting for the person i bought it off of to give me the login info and i know it will be another day or so till the log on

    I could give you the program and usb drivers etc. But you still will require the application key to get it to work with that particular box.

    YOu only need the number on the sticker that's on that box and the password. That's all it should be to get on the site as the customer.

    ok so no mater what i have to wait for the password... i figured the sticker was the serial number... i was trying to use it today yet i dont see them login on anytime soon

    If you take a pic of the number and send it to HPT support via their website, they can reset the password.

    i straightened out the problem with the seller and got everything fixed thank you... and i found it on one of the forums about 2 months ago

    Theres a maf table using your average LTFT's to adjust it then smoothed it a little.

    That and resetting your fuel trims might help a little with the 3.9 LTFT at WOT.

    Didn't touch 7000+.

    ok well i cant stay up because i have to open in the morning... but id appreciate on the explanation of reseting fuel trims...

    matt it went from 3.8 to 3.1 ltft but i donno how to reset the fuel trims????

    open the scanner.

    connect to the vcm.

    At the top in the same row that you click the connect to VCM button, just right of centre theres another button.

    theres a button which i cannot recall what it looks like, but if you hover your mouse over it, it'll say vcm controls.

    open that, then go to the fuel tab, then press reset fuel trims then you can disconnect it again.

    ok so far the ltft has been low after i reset the trims... still knocking some though but it has reduced it from what i see...
