    Hi, I have a P0446 has to do with the EVAP system on my 04 N/A. The car is running just fine but the light bugs the hell out of me and my friend's scanner reset the code and it has come back. I don't have a whole lot of money to get this fixed and I've got a feeling this is going to suck tracking down the problem. My question is if there is a place or person around Chicago I can bring the car to and have the code deleted forever? I don't know anything about tuning.. I want to be able to pass the emission test next year and not have to worry about some stupid EVAP crap. Or should I go for trying to fix it? I am mechanically inclined sort of (replaced water pumps, brakes, plugs, radios, basic things) I believe this is something about a stuck solenoid or clogged vent? ? Don't know the location of these. I checked in the trunk for some (access panel) I read in the forums and only found a small 5x3'' gray box with 2 bolts. Anyone's advice would be awesome

    A code P0446 could mean one or more of the following has happened:

    * Faulty vent valve
    * Open, short or excessive resistance on Vent valve control circuit
    * Blockage of vent valve
