Thread: Custom pcm

Ok so what do you guys think I've got the stock zzp 1.0 PCM with the basic tune like shift points harder shifts and the 90 sec fan after turnoff etc. and i was wondering what the gains would be if any at all if i gotta another one reprogrammed for my mods (in sig) and if it would be worth the money considering that I won't be doing anything else more in the near future. Thanks for your guys input.

Well when we put the pcm in welcoming did all the other mods at the same time cause we pulled the engine

So you had ZZP tune the PCM for the injectors and cam?

If so...your car would be a million times faster with a custom tuned PCM...street tuning with a Wideband should be your next investment.

Well hell its not even tuned for the cam and injectors it's just the BASIC basic tune and I'm running 13.34 niw. Think it'll be better with a custom tune from zzp or if you know anyone who can custom tune around the 45247 area? If so hit me up with their number

Again...my question...how does it even run? It should run like sh1t. Put your stockers back in or go get a tune...and bring the 2.6" with you...because with the correct fueling tables...it should be knock free on a 2.6".

Honestly I dunno how I'm running. When I put the new injectors in I even gained 2 mpg. Dunno if this actually had any effect from the injectors. And btw I don't have a 2.6 I got a 2.8 on there. Again I ask if it would be good to get the specific tune from zzp or if you know anyone who can custom tune around the 45247 area

Another question, which is better street tune or Dyno tune I've heard good things about both what do you guys suggest?

street your out on the road, actually doing what your car does. Dyno your on a dyno in a shop. I'd just rather have a street tune personally.

Because are you REALLY going WOT all the time? No...Like Cody said I'd rather know what my car is doing 95% of the time...rather than the other 5% of the time that is spent WOT.
