Do I need to do any tuning changes to switch from a GT map to a GTP map in a M-90 ss kit ?

The MAP sensor itself is the same, unless you're going from a 97/98 style to a 99-03 style. If you're changing throttle bodies, then yes, you need the MAP table for that throttle body.

I think your right Parker because the 2-Bar's read up to 14.7psi and were needed when running the stock 6-8psi. But that's just my opinion on...I might be wrong...

You're thinking MAF. He's talking about the MAP sensor.

You will need to load the data for the L67 MAP. It's a 2-bar and will read differently. There are three different values that need to be changed.

It won't really do you much good. Your L36 file doesn't have tables for boost.

I see then the adaptor ZZP sells must only work with a top swap with a GTP pcm ,by the way TDC the tune you did is'nt working out it made things worse so I had to send for a specific tuned PCM from ZZP it seems they are the only ones able to tune reasonably for the M-90 SS kit ,I'm not complaining I just thought I'd let you know so you would'nt try tuning this setup again and if your so inclined maybey a credit on future purchases?

I think the problem lies in the tune for the M-90 SS seams to be different ,but I wanted the codes cleared which you were unable to do ,and you may have misunderstood thee original tune I had from ZZP worked just fine on my original setup but I thought it could use an update with the new mods now I'm no tuner so I can't say what the issues were but before I sent you my PCM the problem was on cold startup the rpms would bounce from 2k to 3or 4 hundred and back untill it reached operating temp. them it would idle at 750 just fine and run fine when I got it back it would do the same but also a big hestation on accelloration ,the reson I did'nt say any thing sooner is I'm out of town all week so I did'nt have a chance to install it ,I'll have the pcm back on wed. so I'll let you know how it's working if it's ok them I'll get a dyno tune for finer tuning ,I'm not PO'ed I just need it to run reasonable .Chico.

They charged for a new tune which is for an SS M-90 with GTP TB and INJ. VS cam tune and to delete EGR and EVAP from the PCM total $175 shipped

You're right. It only adapts the wires. It's meant to help when swapping entire engines so you don't have to do custom wiring. Just swap engines and PCMs into your car (keeping your harness) and you're good.

I used it for my top swap since I'm running L67 code. Anyone with a tuner could make the adjustments for you real quick if they knew the values of the L67 code.

I've never had any problems with ZZP's parts or service but their customer service sucks ,and all the excuses in the world wo'nt change that so unless you live near their shop communication is impossible .Chico.

Well I got the PCM back and she seems to be running OK ,now to get a dyno tune and see what she'll do.Chico.
