Little back ground. Some of you might have read some of the post from GTP4 and the problems he has been having. He spun a rod bearing and got the motor rebuilt. Drove it for about 200 miles and 2 oil changes. Now we are ready to start tuning again. The car runs fine but when he tries any thing over 20% throttle the kr sticks at 1.93 and stays there and also the ltft shot up to -14.84 or higher and stay at that #. He also replaced both kr sensor when he got the motor rebuilt. This is the same bin file he got from zzp and was running 0-1 kr at 945 02' and the ltft' locked in at 0. Is there anything we should look for that may not have been hooked up right. All the vaccum hoses are right no vaccum leaks.
Here is alittle scan: 02192009_210916.csv from slow6 -- Scan Depot dot net

No ses light coming up, or problems with the car.
It runs great for a car having issues.

fail, you didnt scan timing? We are suppose to troubleshoot timing issues without a scan of timing?

Your spark system is in limp home mode for some reason or another... cam sensor, crank sensor, or knock sensors... The problem likelyhood is in that order.

Yeah, we realized that after the scan.
    Knock sensors are brand new.
The crank sensor was installed a year ago.
    The cam sensor?don't know.
The car is not throwing any codes.
Some members think im running reall rich causing the kr.
But why would it knock and stay at 1.93?

I don't think we have a timing issue here. And How exactly do you come to the conclusion that the spark system is in ''Limp mode'' and Define ''limp mode'' for us all.

First off you need to do a MAF tune. Do you have HPT or DHP? You're trims are all out of wack. That is definetly what is causing that little bit of KR.

This does not seem to be the problem with you but a lot of people seem to be getting PT KR. And usually in large amounts. If you are getting any PT KR after you have EVERYTHING straight as far as the fueling goes try disabling the EGR. Set the minimum IAT to something around 284*F

That should take care of that issue if you were to ever have it.

Narrowband 02's are not a good way to tell what you're fueling is at but what are you at according to them right now?

Do a MAF tune and you should be fine if you don't have any Vacume leaks. If you have HPT reset the fuel trims before you start the MAF tune.

The thing is he was running the same 02 and tune from zzp for about 3-4 months before the motor spun a bearing. The timing is low and how do you find what is causing it to go into limp mode. I will scan the car again with everything in the scan. If the tune was off that far the ltft would not be so close to 0 at idle and cruise plus I don't think the stft would lock in at 0 either. What I do not understand is it only the kr only shows up as 1.93 and nothing else.

You guys think, i would be able to find whats causing this.
If would take the car to a dealer and get it diagnosed with a computer?

The map sensor conector was broken and wasn't making good contact.
I put a tie strap to keep together, but need to get one used or new.

so were you actually experiencing only 1.9* of knock or could you have possibly been pushing it with more without even knowing it?
