You are welcome to search the HP Tuner forums for files to reference or use the tune repository once you create a customer account to view files for reference purposes.
While using this tuner it is not wise to ever take someone else's tune and try to use it as your own. You will waste credits as you must license other peoples files to use them yourself and you risk bricking your computer if something did not match. This is why I said use other tune files for reference only, you could copy over known good data if you had too but that's all you'd want to do.
Read up on the product and what it can do. Only license your vehicle's file and nobody elses. Buy a book or two to learn about how the motor works and what tuning is about.

Newbie here. New to the site not maintenance. I am a novice when it comes to tuning though. I am extremely interested in it but will never do something above my skill level. Can you give me advice as to what books I should buy? I am getting a 01 GP GTP. Where can I buy the HP tuner and what should I have for starting out tuning. Thanks fit any and all info and advice

Greg Banish sells a book called Engine Management Advanced tuning, it's cheap and can be found on ebay/amazon. Good book about the basics of what goes on.
ERM Performance is run by a guy that is a member on the HP Tuners forum, lots of good stuff to learn from his training course at a great price. I'd tell any new member to purchase his course to learn about the HP tuners software.
You can purchase it through him as well or through HP Tuners themselves. Summit racing and many many other places all sell HP Tuners.
