    So I recently bought a turbo gtp has the cartuning kit with a 65mm precision turbo. it absolutely did not want to idle when I bought it. Finally got it to idle started doing some wot scans it will not stay in closed loop during my normal time PE should kick on. Hpt says "OL - not ready" under fuel status when everything meets requirements for pe. Any ideas? I'm out

    PE is always open loop.

    Anything outside of WOT can use closed loop.

    Ok so I guess my next question is why on my other gtp my fuel status says PE Under fuel status and this one says open loop not ready? My afr at wot is way to lean around 14 to 15. It's set to be 10afr. I may just have to play with my maf that much I guess? It seems like it's not using the maf for fueling at all.

    Fixed, not sure what I was trying to say lol. It's set to 10 in my pe table and I'm no where near that.

    ok. im use to running in OLMAF so I wouldn't have to worry about closed loop or open loop and playing around with the narrowband since I use a wideband in its place. are you getting any DTC codes related to the "OL not ready" like bad o2 sensor?

    so when you enter PE does the log/scan say PE? Powrtuner scan/log in the parameter would have a field that says closed loop and open loop when entering PE based on throttle percentage.

    edit-also are you using a wideband to verify the afr?

    No it's says OL - not ready. Yes I'm using a wideband and scanning it right on hpt

    is the 14-15:1 on the wb at 100% throttle? if so, im surprised the motor's in one piece lol.

    Somehow yeah barely any knock too unless something is reading wrong

    Motors lucky so far lol. I easily chipped #5 going partially lean at part throttle around 14:1
