04+ cars are not mapped correctly, so this table is not completely accurate. But I've used it with success.
Here is what my current setting is. It is close to the one That GTPpower posted. From what I have read DHP is divide and HPT is multiply. So DHP would be lower and HPT higher. But I have read a lot of misleading info so it is hard to sort it all out.

Are your fuel trims still all wacky?

No, they are good now. It seems since I made the changes this issue started. Almost seems like a torque management issue or something like that. It starts surging big time.
Re: Tuning 60 pound injectors
Well I can't get this thing running right. I'm on the verge of switching back to gas. I thought about getting a tune from ZZP or intense but I'm sure there are no guarantees that will work and I have spent enough.
Will a maf file and a timing file work from a 2002 on my 2004? I am willing to try before I but the old injectors, pulley and tune back on.
Re: Tuning 60 pound injectors
02 and 04 maf is not the same, so id not be using the wrong file if thats whats going on.
no one does canned tunes for e85 that i know of.
Re: Tuning 60 pound injectors
I have not used the 02 file. That was my last thought. I contacted Zzp and they said that they have had good success with E85 tunes. They said they have had many on the dyno there.
Re: Tuning 60 pound injectors
Lol. I used the term "canned tune" and the guy at ZZP didn't like that much. He said all their tunes are based off of many years of experience and hundreds of dyno tunes
Re: Tuning 60 pound injectors
im sure they mean in house dyno tuning it. not heard of a canned tune yet. ive been wrong before tho.
where you at now? the trims near where we want them?

its a canned tune no matter what he thinks or says lol if hes not there tuning the car in person, its a canned tune, end of story. cause we all know what works for me, might not work for you. these engines are different enough to vary quite a bit.
Re: Tuning 60 pound injectors
Yeah they do e85 canned tunes now. They have a spot for it on their page and I verified through email.
The trims are within 5% I have tried to get the wot fueling and knock tuned out without success. I know it has to be something that I am not tuning correctly. It ran great before I switched over to e85.

Exactly. I got a chuckle out of it also.
Re: Tuning 60 pound injectors
whats your timing set to at the rmps the kr starts?
what are the ltft's when wot?
Re: Tuning 60 pound injectors
I will get another scan in the morning with the current trim setttings.
The spark when it starts to knock at 4K rpm is 11.7
the graph shows 2 for knock in that cell but the gauge shows 5*
Edit for info**. on my aeroforce the ltft went to 0.00 at wot about an hour ago when it ran like crap. I did not have the HPT hooked up because I was running errands and didn't want to leave it in the car.
Re: Tuning 60 pound injectors
When you say it's running badly, what's it doing?
Re: Tuning 60 pound injectors
It's surging. Almost like it's cutting power.
Re: Tuning 60 pound injectors
At wot? Or at idle? Or cruise?
Re: Tuning 60 pound injectors
It idles fine, drives fine with normal acceleration. As soon as I get on it it surges
Re: Tuning 60 pound injectors
maybe its leaning out on ya? would explain the kr .
Re: Tuning 60 pound injectors
I went and looked at one of the scans. I found the highest degree of Knock in that particular scan and the narrowband o2 was reading at 1024mv at that time. I think that indicates that it is rich at that point????
Re: Tuning 60 pound injectors
everything on the scan goes to pot when you have kr. at least on mine they do.
when i was tuning my 42's, i was way rich to the point the wideband said rich instead of a number. car was weak feeling, im sure i was rolling coal lol then i went to lean and it bogged really bad, like it had no gas, wb said lean instead of a number.
