just to show - its super simple, effective and works so I been using this since 08 and everyone still ****s on it and ****s on maf tuning so im just gonna post the text file to show the changes
i kept the stock maf file for a N* v8 truck given from a member here
I had "decent" trims but i was not getting my MPG that I was used to
one cruise , one file transfer into the program, loaded it back to my ecu and well im locking +/- 2 while cruising now and my MPGs are back into the 30s

It is a good idea to turn off 'Word Wrap' to view this file if your screen resolution
is less than 1024 X 768 and your using notepad. Also, a fixed width font such as
Courier New will make it a lot easier to read the table at the bottom of this report
**The changes created by this program are only suggestions based upon the imported scan.

====== Applied Filters =====
No fuel cell filters were used, all fuel cells (0-5) were used in the calculations
Only the Long Term Fuel Trim (LTFT) was used to calculate fuel trim
No RPM filtering was used, all RPM ranges were included
No MAF frequency filtering was used, all MAF ranges were included
No TPS filtering was used
No Air/Fuel ratio filtering was used.
No ECT filtering was used
The Fuel Trim Modifier was set to 50%
Variable Fuel Trim Adjustments were made based on LTFT for each MAF cell - VTA_Value = 7
Correction = ((Average Fuel Trim / 100) * MAF Cell Value ) * ((Average Fuel Trim * VTA_Value) / 100)
The Hit Counter was set to 1. This means the fuel trims must
not have been 0 for at least 1 frames within the specified range.
For example, this keeps blips of +10 fuel trims from skewing the calculations.
====== Boost, TP %, and PE Information =====
RPM Cell: 2400 Average TPS: 28.6154 High TPS: 32 Low TPS: 27
Average MAF: 6542.385 Average RPM: 2406.385
RPM Cell: 2800 Average TPS: 31.4 High TPS: 33 Low TPS: 29
Average MAF: 6886 Average RPM: 2838.6
This is the AVERAGE TP % when the engine started making boost for each RPM cell
in the PE_Enable_TPS table.
This was figured by averaging the TP% in each row where the MAP kPa was
between 97 & 102, the TP% was the same or higher than the previous
scanned row, and the transmission was in 3rd gear.
Also, there must have been at least 3 rows in each RPM cell before
calculations would have been performed.
These values are averages, check your scan data before making changes to PE_Enable_TPS.
====== Change Table Description =====
The following table explains the suggested changes. It contains:
MAF cell - This corresponds to the cell in the MAF table
Old MAF Value - the value from the imported MAF table
Average FT - This is the average Fuel Trim calculated from the imported scan file
Adjustment Amount - the adjustment amount to be applied to the current MAF
Suggested Change - This is the calculated changes to be applied to the old MAF table
Hits - This is the number of times a non-zero fuel trim was logged in this cell
====== How adjustments were calculated =====
The Adjustment Amount is calculated by figuring the average Fuel Trim for
each cell in the MAF table, then applying it as a % to the MAF table value.
Any blank spaces indicate no change was to be applied Either the fuel trim
average was 0, a filter was applied, or the MAF cell affected was not in the scan
====== Possible problems in the MAF table =====
These are areas where the difference between 2 cells is greater than 15% or less than 2%
The only cells that were checked were cells that matched the imported scan data.
Because of the variations in MAF frequencies through out the table, this is something
that should be manually adjusted if needed. The suspect MAF cell is shown in ( )
You are estimating missing MAF cells, the variance may have been calculated using
the original MAF values. If you don't see a problem in the indicated cells, check
the original values to see if the variance was calculated from there. If so, no
problem is present - the variance was in the original MAF table.
Note: This does not indicate a problem. These are simply areas that may need to be
looked at a little closer.
Varience between MAF cell 2500 and (2625) is 22.01216%
