all the pulleys are 8 rib when they're aftermarket, or at least most of them. we (most of us) still just run a 6 rip belt.

the belt will skip ribs if it's not on the right set so it'll fix itself, hah.

Ya, the new A/c pump has the 8 rib. Was just thinking the grip would be better with all 8 but ? I'm just cheep.
Thanks for the heads up on the belt but I can move the A/c pump in and out to help with belt alinment.

did you put a dab of lock tight on the pulley bolts? you may want to if not.

hows the rest of this project coming? any full shots of the body? you have a time line of when it maybe all done yet? or is this one thats been taking a while and will take some more time. you know how it goes first hand....theres always something.

Time line? Reinstall blower, finish cooling system, start on the wiring ( that is where this started ) maybe end of Jan?+-.

Yes, alittle red on the cap screws .
All sealed up,oil will go in Sat. and I will let sit over the weekend. This change came from a leaking oil at the pully.

All blowers always leak at the pulley when on an uneven surface. The blower case vents through the blower shaft.

Most superchargers aren't vented. They have the m8 threaded hole in the end of the shaft but is not crossed drilled to vent the case. They still put a sintered breather in the m8 but it does nothing.

Newer superchargers (I think 04 and newer) come with the plastic thing pushed into the m8 end of the shaft and the shaft is vented.

They also switched the front seal to a cheap seal that does not have a tension spring

Back at it. Could you take a look and see if I missed anything on the cooling run? Will solder pipe and air bleeder. Under the pipe I will build a bracket to hold the water pipe.

is that copper pipe holder final product? id put a piece of old rad hose over the pipe to make sure nothing wears through. the engines gonna be moving some.
