There may have been more RWD Buick 231CID / 3800ccV6s than FWD. The engine (motors are like what runs the wipers) family began in the 60s. Lots of RWD 3800 Pontiacs still out there (4th gen Firebird), some with a clutch. Pontiac's V8 had a good run, 1955-79 but I find that now, people generally aren't aware that GM's divisions all had their own unique engine designs until the smog era when things blurred and the term "corporate engine" came into play. Lots of people are suprised to find out that all 350s aren't chevys. Sigh. I used up a couple Pontiac V8s in my time and still run one. Now that we're talking about it I want to go for a cruise with it. Believe I will.
BTW make my Holden a stock LS powered Ute please.
Come on, do you have to be one of those guys who nitpicks motor and engine lol? I'll call it motor still .

I ain't gotta be, its just a pet peeve. Working against the hillbilly stigma here. I said motor until I was about 40 and sometimes it still slips out that way, so raspberry accepted!
All Grand Prix, all the time. 69 Model J, 99 GT & GTP coupes. All junk, haha.
