I swear this is gonna be a place the Roadkill guys stop by sometime. Those EB's made my day.
You would dig the blue one, man. Has all the bells and whistles tucked in that tiny dash and cool looking Explorer engine, etc. Can post more as I run across them.
I messed up a caption earlier and said Packard. Thats a different folder, lol and its black. The green 40s coupe was a 41 Lincoln Zephyr. What a car.
Just drove the GP for over an hour. It loves being fully warmed up and stretched out like a cat in the sun. Skated around the rain and it was nice out but a little slick in places. Its a pull over and stop thing when all the manual glass is down then it starts to sprinkle!
I'm too pooped to post much this week GPF'rs... long day so you get grey pics. Too many sparks still flying on the front end but I nalied down the bumperettes' fit this week then hosed primer yesterday in polyester and today in urethane from the doors back. No tails or spolier ends in pic to keep it mysterious, lol. I think this car will freak people out on the road because its so just... lump? And low. It actually kinda has a wide-track look!

Aw- you know I got more in me yet, hang on. Got some qwik vids for you.
(Boobs- if you got yer ears on... This is a buddy from the HPP forum who lives well, maybe not far from you. Hmm)
Somewhere in the flurry of previous pics in this thread, I posted a pic of a friend's 69 GP parked next to mine in front of the shop.
Its like mine but no shiny, and he is a whiz with the iron Pontiac V8s and associated hardware. As far as I know, his car has a poked 455 like me, but damicantremember maybe alum heads or punked out iron. Anyway his car has a Tremec 5 speed swap and iirc a 3.42 gear. Those look like big ponch wheel vintiques maybe, it had 3rd gen WS6 T/A wheels during his visit. He used the sways off that car, they fit! Might have bigger discs or four wheel its been awhile. Car is in the 12s in the standing quarter although that changes with breakage and upgradeage.
People don't expect 69 GPs to move like they do (comparatively snappy handling for an overgrown A-body) and heres a sample of some cone n clock action. I think my GTP would be toast doing this...

More Ron, LOL. Hang on for buddy Jam, in the white tri-power 1st gen Firebird.

Aaaand last. I hate wind noise, hope you tuned the volume down. Them ol boys sure do make me want to go out and hot rod something. My first mod was poly bushings thoughout, but thats where I stalled 15 years ago. Never even put a rear sway on mine but I wanted it to corner well. Maybe someday but for now this.

So a guy over on the rodder forum posted about a blown front wheel drive Chevelle they built with Toronado stuff. And Line-Loc. Man that thing had to be a blast! Torque steer WAS mentioned.
Anybody need some kitty? Ha. These strays wandered in the shop and found a new farm home by doing so. They stopped crawling up the cage after I shared my lunch with em.

Oh boy, IDJ posted a cat pic uh oh. More shiny stuff soon, GPF-ers.
How about more grey, from today? Somehow tails make it look like a car. It HAS come a long way in the last year or so...

Remember the Mach 1 I showed earlier? I went fairly deep on that one, all over:

Heres a glance at a green one you'll see more of later. Everything you see is welded steel mudded by me. People think its fiberglass. More later on that one, but ain't it shi-ney?

In my opinion (and the builder's), best looking FF33 we did so far. Removeable hard top, power windows, A/C, etc with engine set up to look carby but is EFI.

BTW, this truck is riding on 3/4 ton junk underneath. It is like new, green inside, and for sale around 30K. Very nice truck.

Damn, if I were you both the Camaros, the El Camino, the Mach 1, the aerocoupe, the sema truck, and the big booty bird would have all come home with me. Oh and your 40th was pretty damn sharp before the accident and I would have gladly taken that one too lol.
Anyone else kinda wish they could tag along with Matt for a year or so and learn the trade?
Simply amazing work you guys do.
IROCZ, I would but I figure I better wait for the right one to take home. Somebody might catch on so only one stab at it lol. Big booty bird also ha ha, builders approve of that name!
Bill, the crew all really somehow knows what good work looks like and how to, so if the price is right we offer that. We all just learned by doing, but guys here can find out how its done if they ask. But as with anything kinda dangerous, 5 hours of observation does not equal five minutes of participation!
This top pic is for the background truck. Only pic on my cam of it together, but shop cam has plenty. Anyway, I tore that down and showed the chassis a ways back here. The bed and cab came back from blasting today. If I recall correctly they use a mix of mostly walnut shell media on our stuff. Heres what that body looks like now.

Da-yum look at the 4x4 on this thing! vvvv
Thats a 67 Ranger truck, it was the fastest thang in wherever-ville! I vote TT Coyote, must.
Scotty, that full ba-donk treatment included of course the fattened wheelwells and center exhaust but also a bumper tuck. Before shot below. The bumper was split in two, eliminating the center portion. Today I patched in the gas hole so its just tag there. The bumper ends were fitted into pockets in the quarters that used to stick out instead. Definitely more than may meet the eye. No carriage bolts, lol. Making gaps around all sides of both was a PITA. Another task roughed in by another and passed to me to make nicer. Shims make it all slightly adjustable. But yeah, that part took time. Wait until you see the engine bay dressed out, the air intake is really sumptin.
