I was wondering if there were any other high school students on the forum. It'd be great to swap advice and help each other out, given the huge problem we have of lack of funds, lol. Anyone else out there?

I'm not in high school. Did buy my black Grand Prix when I was in High School though. Currently a Junior in College now with a 4 month old daughter, and still have one of the best looking GP's.

Trust me, I know what it's like "Modifying" with minimal funds.

I bought Mine when I was going into junior year of high school. Now finishing up my sophomore year at college. Plenty of people here have nice cars with limited funds.

Funds still aren't easily available once your out of hs lol.. You just get more bills and responsibilities thrown at you. Save up like most of us do for whatever mode you want.

So far I've done some minor things to freshen up everything and get some power (stainless hardware all over the engine bay, Don Rome diagonal braces, cleaned like crazy, homemade CAI, painted supercharger, cleaned TB and MAF, ZZP Plog, and lots of minor repairs as things go wrong), and I'm definitely keeping the car, so I'd like to keep going and get it perfect

its nice when you have what they are asking, and you see it first.....but literally, 80% of my parts fell in my lap lol and none of them were even listed for sale. call em chat room buys.

Rarely do I list what I actually have for sale I usual just run into someone who's looking for this/tht etc and I get reminded that I have what they they're looking for.

Traded a 90 Mustang for my GTP, so easy to mod or change things for cheap with a GP, scored roof rails for $4 at a junk yard once.

The deals are out there, just gotta find them or wait for the right moment.

Junk Yards will be some of your best finds, reminds me, I got some 04+ gauge needles to sell LOL.
Goldie 98 Topaz Gold GTP (retired)/ Shadow 06 GTO 6.0 Phantom Black Metallic- traded in. Now cruising a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500 HD 4x4 with the always fun 6.0L
