Arod for comeback player of the year?
Honestly the Cubs are not looking terrible this season... I still dont think they will have what it takes to take down the Cards this season though. From where I sit the road to the WS from the NL goes through STL.
Tigers.
That is all.
A whopping 12 games into the season? How'd last season go? Or the one before? Or the one before? How many rings do they have in the last 20 years?
Not to mention my money is on KC to win the central division. Detroit MIGHT win the wildcard but I think that will go to a bigger market team.
The Tigers have been at the top of the AL Central since 2011.
But I thought this was a thread about the 2015 season, so why we bring up previous years? That's irrelevant.
No its relevant in terms of how they can never maintain the pace through the season. And being in the playoffs only means so much. Need to win a little when there also.
I think KC will be the team to beat in the AL.
Even though the Cards are a rival to my Pirates, I don't hate them like I do rivals of my other teams because they are a pretty class organization, unlike the Brewers with asshats like Ryan Braun and Carlos Gomez on their team.
It's still way too early to make any real predictions, but I have high hopes for the Pirates. Had they not let a few games get away from them last year they would have been the Central champs instead of a Wild Card. Hopefully they can get off to a better start than they did last year so they don't have to dig themselves out a hole again.
Honestly if the Pirates were in another division I would pull for them in that division. But when it comes to the Central, then best I can say is I hope they are second. Lol. But I too hate the Brewers. I love it when STL beats the brakes off them.
Maybe it's just me, but honestly I feel that the road to the NL title comes through Busch Stadium.
