This is far from the truth..lol...apple is made for simple people to use..it's ease of use..hence you cannot do crap with an io6 device..it's locked down...so yes, apple is better if you want to listen to music and have a basic smart phone that is super simple to use...but if you want to really have a powerful smart phone where you can customize and root and have better apps...android is far superior....torque app is a great example this alone! And fyi..all new apples will have a Samsung processor chip in them starting in a few months...interesting apple would use such a crappy part .

best part about android phones is the amount of customization you can do, hate how apple is so restrictive, (never owned a iphone though)
EDIT: as far as what is the best app, there isnt really one, like what was stated earlier, you like something, download it, just kinda got to go with it

Hate apple, period. Landlocked on what you can do and easy to break.

Got a z30 BlackBerry and it's been the best BlackBerry ever and I've had most of them, similar text function as mentioned before. And it took a 6.3 Mercedes?? To break my screen, even fell out of my pocket while racing a shopping cart across costco parking lot and survived.

Only phone I'd switch to is
    G5/6.

Have a 4th generation iPod touch. Like it much more than Samsung. It's about 3 years old and have no problems except for the fact it's outdated. I agree with kentonvavrusa that Apple is much better. With a Galaxy, if you drop it from your pocket on the ground, the back flies off and battery comes out. iPhone's are sealed and much more durable.

Lol..apples have a sealed battery which is a drawback not a bonous, if the battery goes out its done, galaxy have expandable SD card slots and replaceable battery..if you drop an iPhone or apple device the screen falls off...and no it doesn't pop back on like the battery cover of a galaxy.

The only phone that i've ever cracked a screen was my Rezound. The screen shattered from falling out of my pocket when I was getting out of a golf cart. I've dropped my iPhone tons of times and haven't had a problem. Its all personal choice. I'm plenty happy with being simple with an iPhone. And when my battery goes? I'll buy the kit off of amazon and replace it.

I would much rather have my back plate and battery come off rather than have my screen crack and shatter everytime I drop it.

Big deal if it takes you 7 seconds to pick them up, 10 seconds to put it back together and then wait 30 seconds for it boot back up.

I rarely have my phone on my person as I am a mechanic and never want to touch it but in the 1-2 times I've dropped it, it never had anything bad happen to it. Hell, my old phone that I had for 3 years still looks brand new, guy at T-mobile said it he never see's phones to well taken care of lol.

Do you know how often an Apple battery goes bad? Literally never. I've overcharged my iPod hundreds of times and it hasn't lost battery life at all. Those batteries rarely go bad and when they do, it's not hard to replace it. Have dropped my iPod several times and screen is good and with mine being 3 years old, the new iPhone's have better glass and build quality.

you know how many people think they've bricked an iPhone and don't know you can't really brick one if you have the knowledge to fix it?

If you have a desktop, go to https://play.google.com/music/ and upload your music collection to it. Then you can stream from it on your phone or download it like you have a premium account on the Play Music App.
You can backup your photos to Google+ or Google Drive app. Google Drive is like Dropbox.
    Get Chrome browser.
Get Prey just incase somebody steals your phone then you can lock it and track it and wipe it. F&F legacy is fun. Real Racing 3 is too. Hangouts is a good messenger app. It works with texts and similar to a IM service.
Get SwiftKey Keyboard because its the best keyboard.

You apple humpers do realize the Gs6 does not have a removable back or battery....so Samsung users are now in the same boat as you....and lol at comparing an ipod to any current phone. Is that your mommies way of saying you can't be trusted with a smartphone???
