I know how it is, you get into a comfortable position and forget, then you move and it bites.
Christmas went great here. No Santa outfits though, no grandkids and Dad is in his late 70s lol
Saturday night I turned into the upchuck monster and haven't been this sick in forever. Whew, dayum it sucks being your own beeotch. Haven't eaten in about 24 hrs and have to barely sip water. TP almost gone lol. Meanwhile we've been getting like a foot of rain and the heavy GPs might sink up to the frames ha-ha. Awful muddy out.
Need me to overnight you some TP, that or fire up the fishing boat and head into town haha
Getting sick over the holidays always sucks.
I wasn't exactly sick but when I was wrapping gifts Wednesday night I felt a little tickle in the back of my throat and sure enough I woke up Thursday with a sore throat. I've been eating Atomic Fireballs and Luden's throat drops the last few days. Did a shot of Fireball at the bar last night too. LOL
It's improved, but I am not 100% yet. I'll have to remember to take some stuff to work with me tomorrow in case it starts bothering me again.
It sure is getting deep and they say theres a couple more days to go. Might need a boat! The area near Dallas that I used to live in is the one all over the news. Man that whole area got ripped by a tornado and they got a bunch of casualties. I remember being in my apt there when vicious hail hit my Ventura. Sure is strange to be at 60 degrees during the holidays, and also to be too sick to work atm. Fn gut hurts. Grandpa would have said quit her bellyaching. lol
I got me one of them there fancy 30-06s for Xmas I got some anmo for her. I consider myself an ammo hoarder with 500 rounds of 9mm 1400 rounds of .22 and 1800 rounds of 5.56 lol I only have 60 rounds of 30-06 in Looking into reloading those puppies at 20 bucks a box of 20 so a buck a round and I can reload them for around 45 cents it would be worth it lol

LOL, I just found almost a whole box of 30.06 shells in my hunting backpack. They are probably 12 years old since its been at least that long since I went hunting. I really want to find a range to go put some rounds through her. My brother was the last person to shoot it a few years ago when a gunsmith took longer than anticipated working on his 30.06.
My old boss' son actually took it apart and cleaned it for me a few years back. Its probably in need of another cleaning though just from sitting in the case.
I rarely target practice our rifles, 2 are iron sights anyway for hunting in the woods where a scope is kinda annoying.
The ammo we have been using is atleast 15-20 years old when my dad bought a whole bunch. Only got a box or two left and every year I only take about 1-4 shots, so it takes awhile to go through them.
And ammo online can be cheaper sometimes, or fleet farm or gander mountain are cheaper. The cabela's store in town is over priced on everything. They wanted like 25-30 bucks for 300 rounds of .22 ammo, went half a mile down to road to gander mountain and it was 20 bucks for 333 rounds of a similar brand.
I finally ate. Whew! Still dizzy. Ace, you made me go look at my rifle and ammo and pet them. Yep, still ready. But for what? I should go plink it this year.
I hoard ammo to I have 2000 rounds 9mm lol every pay check I go buy 100-150 rounds.

Not quite happy right now but not much I can do till tomorrow. I had to call off Thursday because of high winds and down trees along all the ways I take to work. Tried 3 different ways with down trees the last way was literally an hour detour making me like 2 hours late at the most for a 4 hour shift so I just called off. Explained my situation GM when I called in he couldn't say if I'd get 3 points from it or not. Fast forward today after work the assistant manager messages me on Facebook says I have a thing to sign about getting 3 more points putting me up to 6. So tomorrow I have to try to explain to my manager about my situation and hope she excuses the points but she isn't exactly a super nice person to talk too so I don't expect any good to come from the talk. The assistant manager already told me if I call off tomorrow because of the freezing rain tonight he will excuse it. I can't be too upset tho I guess
Downed trees is no less an act of nature than ice or snow. Stand your ground and pass thru their red tape.
^^^^agree with both above
