Yup Fun
Just north of a Grand for the core, new coolant, ac charge, etc. Then it needs suspension work. Guy just bought it from a dealer from Florida and had it shipped here. Po bypassed the heater core instead of replacing it. Now it's his problem.

Blue, if a Mercedes S-class comes into your stall for that... run, don't walk! What a bowl of spaghetti you got going there sheesh.
Heres a gratuitous blown SBC pic to brighten your day. Belongs to co-worker. This thing had an intake leak and got washed a couple times. Tried to start it and there was water inside a hole. Removed that piston, ran a 180 hone a little... then broke a ring with an iffy compressor on the way back in. His dadgummer is working, lol.
I think thats a 4-71 on like a stock 350. 4lbs with this setup, 8 lbs to come, he says. Looks cool.
Mine were 49.99, I'd jump on them. Plus they look nice in the tool box
Ah. My chisels and punches stay downstairs, upright in a paint can bottom drawer. Except for air hammer bits. Oh and the little tapered 1/8" punch that seems to have some use on every job. I'm a one Crescent wrench guy though. Need a pipe wrench sometimes, don't have one.
I have a bad habit of just throwing everything in the toolbox or setting everything that I'm using for that particular job elsewhere and eventually it gets throw back in the box. I really need a nice toolbox but ehh not a huge priority atm.

That's at work so they get put back at the end of each day if the current job is done. Not today of course lol

Yea I could understand that.. Body shop man and mechanic.. But for a backyard guy like myself that just wrenches on stuff here and there ehh.. I'll end up thrown together lol

I do this lol, I have to every month or so go through the garage and consolidate all the sht I leave out and reorganize my box. If I don't my grandpa does then I can never find anything. Tho I know what sizes I need anymore when working on my car which stop having tons of tools out that I have to put back.
Even at home they get put away....eventually. They have sat on the parts tray of the rolling chair for up to a few months lol

Navy that pic makes my OCD happy
My usually spot is on the passenger floorboard or just laying in the trunk. I really have a bad habit of doing this. Especially if I end up not finishing what I started or doing to much at once or if I'm bothered and I need to be elsewhere.
