Wouldnt call that new, mercs and beemers been doing that for years. All 07+ BMW 335x's have a digital oil level meter, thats just one example.

But yeah, they suck and are just another problem in the future.

The fake exhaust tips that make it look like you have a 4inch exhaust but its really just a body trim that goes around the acutall muffler end.

Not having an actual gear shifter, just buttons or a nob thing. I'm also not a fan of CVT's and 8+ speed tranys. Also, has anyone seen the 2015 Dodge Ram Rebal? The previous gen was beautiful.

    Yes, yes you did.

On AWD: You guys know about stability control as well right?

How about electronic brake force distribution?

    Auto leveling and turning headlights?

Door window open and closed position calibrations?

    Idle speed adaptations?

How poorly the CAN bus reacts to nodes putting out junk data?

How the V6 only became a commonplace because of the 70s?

How electronic throttle bodies wear out because they use carbon traces and wipers instead of optical encoders for positional data?

How it seems many automatic transmissions have valve body issues, regardless of who designed or built it?

How easy it is to hack into a car with Wifi, and take control of the CAN bus, and thus everything from the door locks, windows, engine, transmission, any light bulb etc?

Cars in general have too short a lifespan because consumers want the latest gadgets all the time.

Ford switched over around 2011 depending on the model.

There are three main types: Acid, phosphates and silicates. Americans: Acid. Europeans: silicates. Asian: phosphates.

And there are still more variations after that. Mercedes is G-05, BMW is G-12, VAG has changed their minds a few times over the years and so on.

Long story short, it's a nightmare for anyone who gives a damn. For the rest of us, there's Prestone All Makes hah, as if.

Which German company and at what time?

BMW is blue, Mercedes is yellow, VAG was pink and is now purple IIRC.
