The BBV opens up after a certain psi. Most twincharge setups are already hitting 11's before they add the turbo. When they do, they switch to a larger pulley on the s/c so that it doesnt rob the power by spinning the rotors that fast. It only is used to bring the boost up faster, no turbo lag. After that the turbo takes over. A single turbo only solution would have your turbo lag. You'd think that a few hp would be robbed by the inlet air/boost being limited to the bbv opening and blowing through the rotor packs, but maybe the tradeoff is worth it. ZZP claims that it will always outperform a turbo only setup, but nobody has really tested this accurately that I know of.

not much lag with the right converters. and i just dont see the supercharger spining fast enough to keep up with all that boost of high output turbo. plus all that heat, i think you would be much better off with just one large turbo.

if it could be done (faster) im sure zzp could have came up with a way to make it happen.

"A twin charged setup, given similar mods will always outperform a turbo only solution." -ZZP

They put a car into the 9's by going twincharged, so it's fast enough and definitely possible, so they have done a faster way, but to make it happen is $3500 more after you maxed out the m90's potential.

    FWIW-

Email back from Zoomer's dumb ass regarding the 1'' GMR Chains:

We have 12 sets left and will not be discounting them because they are not available anywhere else and once gone, they are gone. We'll be raising pricing on them as inventory drops.
