Team Fortress 2 anyone?!?!?!
Sorry off topic completely, kinda. I do want to upgrade my computer (kinda kicking myself in the ass for buying a prebuilt computer), but I need my boyfriend/ brother to help cause I'm kind of dumb.

Depending on your budget you could go with any cl9 ddr31600 8gb kit of ram an AMD Fx 4300 and an r9 270 and be able to play pretty much every game on the market.

You have a problem with cords? You wanna go son?
This is an old picture, the TV is mounted on the wall and the stand is gone. I also upgraded to 7.1, then took it back down because we'll be moving soon. I run Mediaportal and have all kinds of Movies and TV shows downloaded, over 600 movies and somewhere north of 4,500 TV shows..I need to add it all up, but there's something like 8 TB full. Infinity surrounds with the 3 inch band tweeters, Kenwood 10 inch sub (I have a 12 inch Infinity sub with an external crossover, but the Kenwood sounds better in this room), Pioneer receiver, yada yada yada. I miss my setup in Phoenix, same basic setup but with a 144" Projector screen, 2 15 inch subs in custom enclosures, Polk Sides, etc.
I'm not a gamer, so this is my battle station. I'll have to look around and see if I can't find a picture of the Phoenix stuff.
I haven't had TV service in 10 years, lol. Depending on the movie and the quality I have them in, that can be anywhere from 8-35GB a piece. I have a few old movies that are in XVID format (700 meg), but that's only if there is no HD version available. Like that old movie Explorers. I need to find an HD copy of Explorers.
My Steam folder is getting pretty bloated.

Hey! Somebody else that runs 7 64-bit. She probably don't know why any more than I do.
Booba thats one helluva spank bank, man. Just joshin'- hee hee. Now back all that up!
Bought a Microsoft Surface for Mom last week. It remains to be seen whether its a blessing or burden. Personally I can't seem to advance my own tech beyond XP and P4s. dang.
The words are longer, so you can count to higher numbers.
Most immediately noticeable difference is the RAM limit is a lot higher.
Other than that.... Ain't no real reason to go higher.
For example, a lot of PLCs are still 16 bit. Simply because there is no need for the ability to count past 32768 or -32767. There are however now 32 bit PLCs, ethernet enabled, built in display, built in diagnostics etc etc etc. It's all about what you need, and what meets your cost/requirement/future expansion requirements.
32 bit Windows is pretty much useless anymore, most pcs have a 64 bit Cpu, most come with at least 4gb of ram.
