It looks like you have the pull up doors as in they basicly pull straight OUT from the bottom. If that's the case you will need new doors also. But to answer you're question I'm pretty sure you would need 2 seperate door openers.

no they are the normal type garage door, broken into 4 sections. i was hoping there would be a way to make it work. maybe make up some kind of a bar that goes the tops of each door and have them meet in the middle where the garage door opener would be, to pull up.

would it work? i dunno. i guess i'm just cheap and dont wanna have to buy two garage door openers. cause i think it would be dumb to just install one garage door opener on one of the doors.

Or you could just convert over to one big garage door. Just a thought.

to be honest i have thought about that, but in a way i kinda like the way it looks with the two doors for the garage. i just wonder how much it would cost to install a new big garage door in place of those two..... may have to look into that.

More than the two gatage door openers. Where the center brace is between the two doors are would be removed and a new thicker support would have to be put in over the door. I believe you can run both openers off one remote. There should be a package deal for double doors. Not sure where to find it, but you may want to check with sears or a place that specializes in garage doors. tell them what you want to be able to hit one button and open both doors.

Yeah, fairly simple. Hardest part is wiring them up. But, the instructions will tell you eveything.
