So last night I got to experience one of the newest advancements in technology. It is pretty amazing what Google Glass can do. You basically have a smart phone on your face lol.

Did you use it? Seems like it would strain your eyes

Hell yeah! Lol. It was awesome. Seriously, it didn't bother my eyes at all.

For $1500 I rather use my smartphone, buy myself a nice pair of sunglasses and buy a go pro if I need to record any video

Just duct tape the gopro to fore head.

I want one so bad and bout bought one when they were open to the public like last week (i think?) but decided 1500 could be better spent on my car

Well his work bought it. He's a software engineer or something like that, so when his work gets new goodies he gets to try them out. They really don't affect your vision either. You can focus on other things and still see what is being shown in the glasses.

there was a nice scam a month or so back where this NYC store was selling these new glasses, but when you wanted to test them, there was always a battery problem, oh, come back we need to charge it up. some would buy with out waiting for the battery's to be charged and got ripped off 1700 bucks lol suckers.......

that store owner got busted too.

seemed pretty cool from what the news was showing of it.

Buddy has had one for a while now. Was part of the developer group when you could opt in for it. He said he hates it, and now sits in his shame pile.
