the Integra was mine. the Cutlass my moms. she drove 29 miles a day on the highway. i didnt contribute to wearing out those tires. but i do take some blame with the Integra's tires. im a very spirited driver. the only tires i have found to keep up with me are Toyo, Khumo, and Dayton Daytona. they are all good tires... just my .02
but to answer your question. yes alot of my tire problems are my driving. but the Good Years where all on the Cutlass
Good Years suck! I have yet to have any last very long. I have hankooks right now and they have lasted over 40k and pretty bald too. But even with them being bald they still grip better than the stock good years. If your looking for a set Sams has Bridgestones for our car for 390.00 with tax. Seen them in there yesterday.
^^good deal!! the BF-Gs on the SE now are going bald, one actually was patched a couple weeks ago because the inner rim is bald, belts showing, and got a hole... but they have great snow traction. they are very comfortable at highway speeds, grip well on try roads, and like i said great wet/snow grip. i would go with those
but remember, whatever tires you get, spring for the extra $40 for the road hazard!!! you never know when you will need it, and its great to have! it will save you money if you ever have an issue
BFG is just as bad if not worse then goodyears. I have found the best tires so far are yokohama's, ive had street tires that lasted over 10 years before the chicago winter dried em out, on a 400 hp malibu mind you, and never had traction problem, they never hardened up when it got cold.
Continental makes a few good tires that are all season but perform their best in the winter.
yokohama ftw
