if it dont have a title dont f ing buy it. no title, no registration.

no title means its a stole parts car most of the time. or it had a loan and was not paid for. (the bank has the title)

Get the VIN and have it ran by the insurance company...if it comes back clear, you can fill out a few simple forms and get a clean title.

theres no simple forms for you to fill out, only the last owner can get a duplicate title. you dont have a title and cant prove its yours even with a bill of sale. that piece of paper means jack to the dmv.

so in short if the guy selling it can't produce a title dont buy it. its not worth the headache.

Have that guy pay for the lost title stuff. Most states it's technically illegal to sell a vehicle without a title BTW. I know scrap yards in PA and NC cannot legally have the vehicle unless they have papers on it.

he needs to get his friend to go get a new title then you would be buying it from his friend on paper.

No simple forms? I didn't say apply through GA...there's a title company in AZ that can get you a title as long as the VIN is clean for $250.
