So its like your lowered then!
The fun starts at 1:05
Something familiar starts at 1:22
The motor isn't blown after all at 2:40
This sounds really familiar at 3:38...
"For some reason, all of that tranny oil or whatever's leaking underneath caught fire on the hot exhaust..."
Hey, Clay...
no bait shops near by? i used to have a battery operated air pump and a 1 gallon bait bucket. minnows, herring, killies, you name it they live all day long as long as the water in the bucket dont get to hot.
i need a fishing trip bad. its been to long.
Coupe loops for the Trans Am came today

I found a seat belt "adjuster" on my passenger belt yesterday so I decided to try it. Does help the digging into neck scenario. How did you end up loopless? Those were solid plastic and rot into oblivion in smog era cars.
I like the belts in my '69, just right. It has retracting lap belts from a '72, but the shoulder belt is seperate in those years. So I can run around all day with the lap belt on and when I get pulled over for no seat belt... lo and behold I AM wearing one! Seriously, I only use the shoulder belt on the highway.
Thinking I might look into one of the PCs today Kyle. Fiending gaming. Must mow first. GTP is wearin like 3 week old dirt too. I need boost, runnin low on power here lol.
Hahaha, the trans am loops had been broken for years now. Took them off to put on seat covers and my dad wrenched on them and cracked them in half so it really REALLY digs into your neck. 15 bucks isn't too bad for a set off ebay.
Don't even remind me of boost as I have non. I guess I could run a leaf blower and have boost like that.
This probably sounds wierd but I do miss my GT. Somebody pisses me off about every other block that I drive, and I end up driving in a manner thats sure-fire transmission murder. With the GT, I could mat the gas anytime and never fear of losing traction so the car lasts longer for sure. Of course I say that now, but I freaked out last time I drove my crip GT. Patted the pedal to about half gas and left long black stripes on the fresh asphalt at the shop. Oops! Tires must get a little slippery from sitting. I need to move that thing again, noticed the grass is getting pretty high around it and theres a big weed coming up under the hood.
I like my mine it may be slow but from like a 25-30 roll it feel like it pulls pretty hard. Iv done plenty to angr my trans like holding the RPMs at like 1700 or so and launching or one wheel peels around corners most of that was when I first got it and didnt know any better. I just wish I got figure out what the eff is causing a whisting sound from the intake. I replaced the IAC and PCV valve with no change, my next guess is if where the IAC is, is so built up with carbon it cant close all the way causing a leak because the whistling sounds exactly like the IAC when the car is cold but it only does it when you hit like 7 in/hg of vac but I have no idea besides ripping the UIM and LIM off and doing those or cleaning the hell out of my TB again putting focus on the IAC passage.
Russ..would taking a video of the noise pick it up enough? If it's the type of whistling I think you're talking about, its just the throttle plate in the bore, and the noise is the air hitting the clean edges on the throttle plate. Whether stock airbox or not, I hear it after cleaning the throttle body. Mines gutted and after cleaning I hear it at like 1/4 throttle pretty well. Our impala has the stock box and after cleaning it I hear the same whistle.
It won't play right now for me for some reason, but I believe this video of mine picks up the whistle
(Hold on)

Ignore my commentary, doesnt seem normal to me but if your cars do it I'll roll with it. I dont recall my moms car or my dads doing that. But those have stock air boxes. Mines always whistled I think just a lot more noticable with an open cone.
Hmm that's louder than mine, very similar noise though. Trying to find my video
Here it is, its at the end.

All I ever ran on the GT was a stock box. Actually they do pull hard enough to pass most junk on the road, and the launch with 3.29s is effortless. I had no complaints but my only competition was a punk in a base RSX.
