this one i also found for sale on one of the V owners sites and it lists a lot more that has been done to it. it's still pretty stock, but it's also got all of the things done to it that would need to be done to make it a reliable fun car.

this one has the best price for the miles and it looks like the guy took really good care of it.
Ls2 has its faults. The stock oil pumps fail, to fix you need an aftermarket oil pump, such as slp. Also they supposedly burn oil (which my car is fine at 52k)
Why not just get a g8? they can be had cheaper and newer
i want it to be stick. i'm not paying GXP prices.
and the more i read about the differences between the motors, it seems like the LS6 is more reliable and actually has "better" parts even though the LS2 makes more power stock. probably that extra displacement, heh.
either motor is fantastic, ls2 was only used in a few cars. ssr tbss gto ctsv.
are the ctsv's electronic t/b?
i can only assume they are based on their age and what motor they are using, but i have no idea, really.
who's in north carolina that wants to go check out that car for me?
Anything past late 2002 was Fly by wire for 5.3's, 6.0's.
It's about a 2.5hour drive for me, but if you set-up some sort of play date, I could check it out.
i wouldn't want to make you go that far just to look at a car for me. anyone that does go look at it for me will earn themselves $50, but that's not worth it for you.
Sure, I can take my bike (60mpg)
+ driving a stick v8 would be nice.
If you can't find anyone willing or closer, just let me know. Plenty willing to (plug being jobless really opened up my schedule)
thoughts on a wrecked one and having me fix it? we just sent one to auction
won't be able to get a loan on it and i don't have $10k sitting around to buy one. or the money to put into it to fix it.
my new good friend mike (yekimmrt) went out and checked out this car for me tonight. he confirmed that everything with the car was kosher and that it is actually in very nice condition.Quote:
