Just wanted to say my peace. Rip. Shouldn't have been like this.

It really is a sad day. The F&F series has come a long way from its beginning. I can foresee the series continuing past 7. I can see them writing O'Connor out because he just wanted to be a husband and a father. The probably means Mia will be written out as well. Only way I can see Mia continuing is if they would kill off Brian's character in the beginning of 8 and have it be at the hands of the antagonist.
Just a few quotes from his imdb page:
"You know, all that really matters is that the people you love are happy and healthy. Everything else is just sprinkles on the sundae." - in Flaunt Magazine, July 2001.
"I'm into being a dad, that's where my focus is most of the time. I'm an actor that's my job, but it's not my life. I have a lot of other interests too."
"I want to get married. I think about it a lot. But I also think about my cars, so maybe my priorities aren't exactly in line just yet."
"Life's too short. And the biggest curse is falling in love with somebody."
"I'm much more likely to give myself a kick in the butt than a pat on the back."
In the movies he does have a son....... And now that Jason Statham is in the 7th one who knows whats going to happen. I think there is 0 point in speculating what will happen in 7 or even after that. Simply too soon and for such a pointless accident.
That sign is a suggested speed limit for a corner, Official speed limits are WHITE signs. That said, speed may have been a factor but we will know more as time comes.
This was also a charity event and the road may have been closed, as many have said they came out running to try and put out the flames from the event, so this was pretty close by. The Driver was a former race car driver.
Carbon fiber has no crumble zones sadly.
I see them having Lucas Black take lead with Vin Diesel, but that is only if they do #8...they may have to since they probably didn't end #7 to conclude the series, no telling until we see it.
Rip paul walker just too young makes all of us realize to make most out of time you are here never know when it is over. Prayers go out to the family.
The more I think about this the more I think there ARE worse ways to go, the man obviously built a life for himself with the movie series and obviously loved fast cars. (don't we all!) Yes its too soon cant change that but I highly doubt by the way that car looks that he felt much on impact. After being over seas a few times Im positive there are worse ways to go Im sure you all can think of worse ways to go also. Also being a parent myself I cannot even imagine what his family is going through.
Sad indeed. I think some expansion on Tokyo Drift would be nice. I actually really liked that movie. And without Paul I don't know what else there would be to expand upon. The actual story line can't go on without him.
Lucas Black is already going to be in #7. the Ending of #6 showed a flashback of Tokyo Drift.
I'm also wondering on F&F's future.
RIP Paul Walker
Dang i couldn't believe it when i saw this. Saw the things stating it was a hoax because they said he was in a crash on Friday, then Saturday, then Sunday so I found it ironic that they said multiple dates he was in a crash so i didn't believe it. Now that its all over the news its shocking. Cant believe it, and going to change F&F for sure. Definitely one of my favorite movie sequels of all time
I don't know if you're trying to be funny here or not, but people weren't connected to Roger Rodas like they were to Paul Walker. I feel like in a way, through the Fast and the Furious, a lot of our generation of car enthusiasts grew up with him. He has been compared to Steve McQueen, which says a lot.
Here's some fun facts about Roger Rodas. He and Walker co-owned a shop named "Always Evolving". Rodas was a fellow racer in the Pirelli circuit and after wrecking his own car into a wall, Walker let Rodas use his Mustang Boss 302S, which he used to get his best position with a second place finish in the Pirelli Porsche Driver’s Cup Series championship in 2012. They were both very charitable and caring people who died before their time.
I was knee deep in Rum when I found out so it helped, still not enough rum in the world... I couldn't tell you how many times I've seen the first two F&F.. If it was on, I watched it! Farewell Paul and Roger, you both Graced the world with a gift. Just another person I hope to see in the end.
