Was at a car meet today and a guy brought a new Stingray. The vette looks awesome. Pure perfection. Every detail of the car was sweet. This guy is a regular and has a 9 second vette. Used to own a vette shop. He says the Stingray is exactly what they've said about it. He loves it. He put a deposit back in May and paid sticker. Now he says they are asking 15K over. Mentioned next summer the Stingray Z07 should be out.

    Here are some pics

And a pic of GP's. LOL

In before anyone else: Meh on the C7's appearance. If I wanted square tail lights, I'd buy a Camaro.

The same guy that designed the C7, Tom Peters, also designed the Aztek. Need I say any more.

Now, under these circumstances I'd consider a C7:

Otherwise, it's C6 all the way for me.

2004 Buick LeSabre 172k - Top Swapped, 3.5 pulley, 1.9 rockers, SLP headers... still slow...

Comparing the aztek to the c7 is a joke. C7 is sex on wheels. Seeing it in person really makes you appreciate it. Plus its a bargain for what you get.

Viper MEH, I bought a brand new RAM 2 months ago and saw 2 brand new Vipers on the lot , even the Dodge salesman said that he will never consider buying one since they are super uncomfortable inside, he mentioned that they havent sold one yet year to date, while the stingray has people lined up to buy.
    to buy.

I like it. I was skeptical on the whole Camaro taillight thing but looks like they executed it good.

And another thing, the aztek was nkt originally meant to look like that. It actually looked decent until the cost cutters took hold.

I will agree that these vettes look waaaay better in person. However, I will never figure out why the put a rear quarter window in them that looks exactly like the Mustang one.

Oh and one thing on the Vipers, they are apparently slowing production on them because of the huge lack in demand.

Yep Its great looking and a great car in general except the ruined back end. Its not a corvette backend. Totally ruined. I'd buy that bumper kit if I had one so it'd still be a corvette. Also the quad exhaust tips put together looks dumb as hell imo.

Comparing the Aztek to a C7 IS THE JOKE! Because the designer for both is the same person. Now are they in the same bracket? Not even close, but you can see where the C6 lines are and where this idiot took a left turn off the cliff and called it a C7.

I have seen a couple in person. Wasn't impressed. I see all the copycat parts pulled off everything else that is original in cars at the current moment. Viper front, GTR side shot, Camaro rear end. Its a hack job that is passable by todays people's standards because the interior is a monumental upgrade and its got a redesigned LT1.

I like the shot with the C6 conversion bumper, I think it gives a much better look to the back and makes it look like the C7 should have IMO. But the again, they didn't ask my thoughts and I don't plan to buy one, so my opinion doesn't matter.
